Technical
(T01) You’ve Heard of MyDay – Now It’s Time to Use It! VISUAL MyDay is the latest example of how VISUAL is continuing to evolve to help you improve your performance within each department. Learn how to set up MyDay portal pages that allow you to establish Role-Based home pages which can deliver the metrics, tools and resources that apply to each specific user or role in your organization.
(T02) Macros for the Masses! “I only wish I could {fill in the blank} with VISUAL”. If you’ve ever had that thought, then join this workshop to learn how macros can help you extend beyond the capabilities of the standard system, and enable you to think outside the box. For everyone who has asked how to write a macro, you will learn basic SQL and VISUAL Basic scripting, and how to apply it to VISUAL. This session will be geared for the slightly more technical crowd. There is another macro class for the "less" technical folks.

(T05) Take Business Intelligence Reporting to a Whole New Level with Executive Dash! Executive Dash is a Microsoft Excel add-in that allows you to take full advantage of a tool you are already familiar with. You can automatically import dynamic results into your spreadsheet, or analyze results with enhanced drill-down capabilities with E-Dash’s easy to use Query Designer. Use Excel’s native charting features to develop your custom dashboards and KPI’s.

(T08) Macros for Dummies – For those who think Visual Basic is an introductory VISUAL enterprise class – this Macro class is for you.You'll learn very simple, yet useful ways to take advantage of the macro functionality with standard SQL scripts.You'll also find out that Visual Basic is a Microsoft programming language – but won't be asked to learn it.
Manufacturing
(M01) Manufacturing Window Essentials for Healthy Living The Manufacturing Window is the heart of the VISUAL system. Mistakes in this area can spread throughout the system like a disease. Learn how to optimize your process to fully take advantage of Scheduling, MRP, Order Entry, and Purchasing. A clean bill of manufacturing leads to a clean bill of health (for your system).
(M02) Maintaining Transactional Discipline on the Shop Floor Now that you understand the critical aspects of the Manufacturing Window (the heart of Visual), it’s time to talk about the arteries. Inventory and Labor Transactions are the blood that keeps the heart pumping, and the financials flowing! This discussion will focus on the importance of timely and accurate inventory and labor transactions. You’ll learn how to monitor these actions with daily/weekly/monthly exception reports and audits. Not really, but in this workshop you will learn the proper procedures, steps, and transactions that make a successful month end closing a fast and easy process. Discuss the issues that can pose the biggest challenges, and learn how to idenify and solve them.
(F02) Advanced Cost Accounting This session is for the more learned VISUAL user who is looking for more tools and tips for resolving costing issues. We’ll cover reporting, sample scripting, and table configurations. It doesn’t get any more exciting than this!
(F03) Automate Your Spreadsheets with Spreadsheet Server There are other tools out there that are “Just like Excel”. Come see the tool that is Excel! Spreadsheet Server is a Microsoft Excel add-in that allows users to access ‘live’ data in Excel, while providing the ability to drill-down to supporting details. Leverage the familiarity of Excel as a reporting and analysis tool while providing up-to-the-minute dynamic data. Users of Spreadsheet Server can simply open a spreadsheet and watch it populate with dynamic financial balances.
