In Infor CloudSuite Industrial, configured product quoting brings the power of the CPQ configurator directly into the quoting process. When a salesperson begins building a quote with a configurable item, the system automatically opens the CPQ configurator. This ensures every quote reflects accurate product options, pricing rules, and configuration logic.
Enterprise Quoting (EQ) connects seamlessly to the CPQ configurator even though they are considered separate modules. This integration eliminates the disconnect between product design and customer-facing quoting. It supports complex selling environments, where every quote may involve product options, constraints, and pricing tiers.
Manufacturers benefit from greater speed, accuracy, and consistency—no rework, no back-and-forth with engineering, and no quoting mistakes due to configuration errors.
According to Nick Mendolia, this feature is all about enabling the configurator inside the quoting process:
"That’s really part of... where EQ gives you that connection into the CPQ enterprise configurator. Even though it's considered separate... it opens that configurator for you if you are quoting a configured product."
