This article is part of our CloudSuite Industrial Feature Focus series.
Each post highlights a specific feature within Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI). In this one, we’re diving into Dealer Quoting Integration.
You’ll get a clear explanation of how it works and expert insight from Visual South’s Nick Mendolia. Nick has implemented ERP for real manufacturers and knows what the documentation doesn’t tell you.
Here’s what we’re focusing on today:
Infor CloudSuite Industrial enables manufacturers to extend quoting capabilities to their dealer networks through CPQ Enterprise Quoting (EQ). This functionality allows dealers to log into a centralized quoting system, build quotes for their customers using the same tools as internal teams, and submit those quotes for approval or conversion to orders.
The result is a consistent quoting experience across channels. Dealers have controlled access to pricing, product options, and rules through CPQ. The quotes they generate are tied directly to your ERP system, so there’s no need for manual re-entry or offline spreadsheets. You get more quotes in the pipeline—without increasing the load on your internal sales team.
This feature is especially powerful for manufacturers with distributed sales models, such as equipment or vehicle makers selling through a dealer network.
According to Nick Mendolia, this is all about empowering your channel:
"That’s the ability to expose your quoting system for EQ out to your dealers. So they can log directly into the system and generate their quotes for their customers... they have that ability to do that work for you instead of you needing to do all that."
Nick compares it to the way boat dealers work with boat manufacturers. The dealer configures and quotes the product directly with the customer, using the manufacturer's system. It gives control and efficiency to both sides.
