Mobile Cycle Counting in CloudSuite Industrial allows you to reconcile inventory continuously without shutting down operations. Instead of stopping production to perform monthly or annual full physical counts, CSI enables you to count high-usage or high-value items more frequently using handheld devices and barcodes.

Nick Mendolia, Director of Client Solutions at Visual South, explains how mobile cycle counting changes the game for companies still relying on full physical counts:

"Many companies will rely only on full physical counts at least once a year, and sometimes monthly in extreme cases. Many times this is just so they are keeping their high-value or high-usage inventory as accurate as possible throughout the year. A well executed cycle count process can eliminate the disruption that a full count requires, allowing the company to selectively count only those high value/usage items on different schedules throughout the year, without having to count the entire warehouse. If done properly, they can eliminate the need for a full physical count altogether."

By using ABC analysis, companies can count their most critical parts every 30, 90, or 365 days, based on value or usage. This targeted approach keeps inventory aligned with reality while reducing operational disruption.
