Guide to VISUAL Shop Floor Mobile Licensing

This guide will walk you through how to determine your current licensing for VISUAL Shop Floor Mobile Licensing and possible licensing based on desired modules.

Of important note, there is a prerequisite of running at least VISUAL version 9.06 and preferably VISUAL version 9.08 for optimum performance. To inquire on upgrading to the latest VISUAL version, please visit the Visual South  VISUAL Upgrade Resource Center.

This article will review licensing for the four functional modules available in VISUAL Shop Floor Mobile. They are as follows:

  • Scheduling
  • Labor
  • Materials
  • Attendance

Scheduling

All VISUAL customers on active maintenance have the ability to deploy and use the Scheduling functionality in VISUAL Shop Floor Mobile.

Labor

All VISUAL customers on active maintenance and that have at minimum six labor collection device licenses are eligible for unlimited VISUAL Shop Floor Mobile Scheduling and Labor collection licenses.

Material

All VISUAL customers on active maintenance and that have at minimum four BTS collection device licenses are allowed unlimited VISUAL Shop Floor Mobile Scheduling and Material collection licenses.

All VISUAL customers on active maintenance and that have at minimum six BTS collection device licenses are qualified for unlimited VISUAL Shop Floor Mobile Scheduling, Labor, and Material transaction licenses.

Attendance

All VISUAL customers on active maintenance and that have at minimum 10 VISUAL Time and Attendance (VTA) licenses are eligible for unlimited VISUAL Shop Floor Mobile Scheduling, Labor, Material, and Attendance transaction licenses.
