The answer to that question is yes; we’d be happy to arrange a test drive of the software for you. However, we do ask that you complete a few steps prior to the ERP trial to ensure our software would be a good fit for your functionality needs and budget. Step 1: Discussion of business requirements and goals It is critical for our team to understand your business and functional requirements so we can recommend the best Infor ERP option for you. We want to understand your current issues, pains, and reasons for looking into new ERP options. Knowing these facts will help us provide functional areas of interest for you to explore and test during your free ERP software trial. Our team will also discuss your deployment options, whether it is on premise, private cloud, or multi-tenant cloud. Every company has varying requirements based on many factors. Oftentimes, those evaluating software may not have a clear understanding of all available options and the pros and cons associated with those options. Please read [Comparing ERP Cloud to On-Premise](https://www.visualsouth.com/blog/erp-cloud-vs-on-premise) for clarification on what the deployment options entail. ### [Our ebook, *How to Select ERP...and not regret,* it may be helpful in choosing an ERP to evaluate](https://www.visualsouth.com/how-to-select-erp) ### Step 2: Introduction to Infor ERP software The next step in the process is to introduce you to the Infor ERP software you will be test driving. You will get a tour of many of the software’s standard features and navigational tools. Understanding what functionality could be used to address your prioritized business needs is critical at this point. If the needed functionality is not available, then there is no reason for you to proceed with a free Infor ERP trial. This important step will ensure you’ll only spend time evaluating viable ERP solutions. Our evaluation process includes an initial PowerPoint overview of the proposed Infor ERP solution. An optional secondary step may be to receive a live demo to further vet and validate the functionality required and proposed business solutions using the Infor ERP toolset. If you feel comfortable that the Infor ERP software can address your ERP requirements and would be a great solution for your company, the next step is the free trial. ### Step 3: Guiding and Assisting you during the ERP free trial The final step is provisioning the Infor ERP software for your personal test drive. Our team will work with Infor to assign users to the test drive. An important side note is that the Infor ERP software will be hosted on Amazon Web Services, the world’s premier hosting environment. Visual South will then set up user profiles and provide access to modules of interest. Next, our team will walk you through the live software environment to show you the navigation and elaborate on items of specific interest. There are also how-to videos for many standard functions that you can watch to learn how to use the system. After we give you the initial walk through, you can play around in the software on your own. A true hands on experience. Our team will have scheduled times for collaboration in the test drive environment to address any questions or concerns you might have. Once the test drive is complete, we can discuss how to successfully implement Infor ERP and build a project plan to ensure your project’s success.
